New Training Cycle Begins at PVTC
Today PVTC kicked off a new training cycle with a fresh group of students! Everyone came together for orientation and jumped right into their first day of hands-on training. While the energy was high and the vibes were fun, students quickly learned that framing a house is serious business. Some had to build and rebuild their framing a few times—but that’s what it’s all about. Our instructors believe that with practice, comes progress!
Keys to a Successful PVTC
Today volunteers from GSK, YouthBuild Philadelphia Charter School, Green Build, and Sherwin-Williams Paint worked hard on, what will be, Provision Vocational Training Center. Thanks to all volunteers, interior and exterior walls were sanded and painted; and walls were framed for the administrative office.
Rebuilding the Community
Working with Endow-A-Home, a program that provided permanent housing for homeless mothers and children, PVTC remodeled a bathroom for a disadvantaged family and renewed their faith that there is good in their community.
